Several elements in this image captured my attention. First, those fallen trees that fell into the shape of a triangle caught my eye. Second, the splashes of red were quite complementary to this overall image. Finally, the various layers — from front to back — gave the overall scene a much more three-dimensional feel. One of my favorite fall scenes from 2016.
