Solitude

Lone trees are near and dear to my heart. Almost immediately after landing in Kauai, I was on the hunt for a lone tree. I spotted this tree after about five days on the island. I put it in my back pocket and went about my business until I got the conditions I wanted. Rain and clouds were a must. Clouds provided interest in the sky and rain provided saturation in the foreground and tree.
