Genesis

This image was captured during the winter, when the aloe was blooming on the coast of La Jolla, California. I thought the aloe, and its flower, would provide a nice complement to the dramatic sunset. The aloe flower typically steals the show, but the sun and the clouds were simply not going to be outdone on this day.
