Hope

There are so many beautiful places to capture images in Canada. It almost feels unfair when you go to Banff National Park because there are myriad locations to capture wonderful sunsets and sunrises. This lake, on this morning, was breathtaking. There was a cool chill in the air, there was a thin, subtle mist on the water, and the clouds were so complementary to the overall scene. It was just one of those mornings when you merely had to show up — a rarity in the landscape photography business. Because of landscapes like this, I won’t soon forget Canada. It’s one of the most beautiful countries the planet has to offer.
