Luminous

Conditions meant everything in this image (don’t they always?). One key element — and I couldn’t do without — was fog. With fog in the forecast, I scouted out the area the day before, making sure the trees were green enough (they were). I had a particular look I was going for and it required diffused light, rather than direct light. When it was showtime, the fog was just burning off and the soft sunlight was fighting its way through the tree tunnel, giving me just the kind of glow I was banking on.
