Sublime

I captured this image during my photo tour in June 2016. I assured my group, as I saw the clouds shaping up, that we’d be getting rays of sunshine (and dappled light) sometime before the sun went down. I had seen similar cloud patterns in years past (at this location) and knew that the gaps in the clouds would help facilitate the light show later on. Not an hour later we were all treated to this scene.
